Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pyke Koch could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Twentieth Century Art auction, the work Portrait of Ronnie changed hands for EUR 3,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pyke Koch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Florentijnse Tuin (Florentine Garden) in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 555,000.00 (€ 643,246.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pyke Koch konnte im Dezember 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Twentieth Century Art wechselte die Arbeit Portrait of Ronnie für EUR 3.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pyke Koch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Florentijnse Tuin (Florentine Garden) im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 555.000,00 (€ 643.246,26).
