Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2008 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Neth Rozen by Pyke Koch. The price achieved of EUR 36,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pyke Koch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Florentijnse Tuin (Florentine Garden) in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 555,000.00 (€ 643,246.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2008 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Neth Rozen von Pyke Koch zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 36.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pyke Koch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Florentijnse Tuin (Florentine Garden) im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 555.000,00 (€ 643.246,26).
