Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pu Xian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Plum Blossoms And Bamboo sold for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,754.47) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pu Xian; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Birds And Flowers sold at auction in October 2004 with the realized price of HKD 215,100.00 (€ 21,668.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pu Xian erzielte im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Plum Blossoms And Bamboo für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.754,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pu Xian; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Birds And Flowers im Oktober 2004 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 215.100,00 (€ 21.668,63).
