Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pu Xian achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in April 2018. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I auction, the work Three Horses sold for HKD 141,600.00 (€ 14,941.06) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pu Xian; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Birds And Flowers sold at auction in October 2004 with the realized price of HKD 215,100.00 (€ 21,668.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pu Xian erzielte im April 2018 bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I wurde die Arbeit Three Horses für HKD 141.600,00 (€ 14.941,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pu Xian; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Birds And Flowers im Oktober 2004 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 215.100,00 (€ 21.668,63).
