The work Horses by Pu Xian was worth HKD 37,760.00 (€ 4,364.36) to a buyer in May 2016. This price was achieved in the auction The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 2 at POLY in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Pu Xian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Birds And Flowers in October 2004 with an auction result of HKD 215,100.00 (€ 21,668.63).

Die Arbeit Horses von Pu Xian war einem Käufer im Mai 2016 HKD 37.760,00 (€ 4.364,36) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 2 bei POLY in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pu Xian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Birds And Flowers im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 215.100,00 (€ 21.668,63).
