A top price for Pu Sheng - as previously expected
In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work The Hidden Place by Pu Sheng. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,799.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Hidden Place is the most expensive artwork by Pu Sheng that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Hidden Place von Pu Sheng zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.799,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Hidden Place das teuerste Kunstwerk von Pu Sheng, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
