The work Firecrackers by Pu Sheng was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in February 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 8,750.00 (€ 932.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Pu Sheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Hidden Place in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,799.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Firecrackers von Pu Sheng kam im Februar 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 8.750,00 (€ 932,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pu Sheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Hidden Place im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.799,07).
