Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Studio Of A Literati by Pu Sheng. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 10,625.00 (€ 1,123.14). Admittedly, works by Pu Sheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Hidden Place in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,799.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Studio Of A Literati von Pu Sheng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 10.625,00 (€ 1.123,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pu Sheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Hidden Place im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.799,07).
