The work Format No. 3 by Pu Jie was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2009. The auction ended at the price of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,566.05), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pu Jie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Internet Time No. 9 in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,917.90).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Format No. 3 von Pu Jie kam im Mai 2009 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.566,05) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pu Jie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Internet Time No. 9 im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 26.917,90).
