Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstract by Prunella Clough was auctioned at Bonhams in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 704.00 (€ 819.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Prunella Clough achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fishermen with Sprat Nets II in March last year with an auction result of GBP 126,000.00 (€ 149,387.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abstract von Prunella Clough kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 704,00 (€ 819,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Prunella Clough erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fishermen with Sprat Nets II im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 126.000,00 (€ 149.387,18).
