Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Australian The Yabbee Catch by Pro Hart was auctioned at Sothebys in Melbourne in November 2008. The price achieved of AUD 7,200.00 (€ 3,712.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pro Hart - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Australian Burning Myxo Rabbits, which sold at auction in May 2007 for AUD 19,200.00 (€ 11,805.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Australian The Yabbee Catch von Pro Hart kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in Melbourne zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 7.200,00 (€ 3.712,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pro Hart mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Australian Burning Myxo Rabbits beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für AUD 19.200,00 (€ 11.805,72) versteigert wurde.
