Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Australian Bush Path by Pro Hart was auctioned at Sothebys in Sydney in May 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 8,400.00 (€ 5,165.00) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pro Hart - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Australian Burning Myxo Rabbits, which sold at auction in May 2007 for AUD 19,200.00 (€ 11,805.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Australian Bush Path von Pro Hart kam im Mai 2007 bei Sothebys in Sydney zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von AUD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von AUD 8.400,00 (€ 5.165,00) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Pro Hart mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Australian Burning Myxo Rabbits beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für AUD 19.200,00 (€ 11.805,72) versteigert wurde.
