Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Prabhakar Barwe was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,331.57). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Prabhakar Barwe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Chess-Board in September 2020 with an auction result of GBP 302,400.00 (€ 333,445.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Prabhakar Barwe kam im März 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.331,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Prabhakar Barwe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Chess-Board im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 302.400,00 (€ 333.445,16).
