Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2018 Bonhams in London held the auction South Asian Art Online Sale, which included the work Two Works On Paper (Fish And Bottles; Pigeons And Bottles) by Prabhakar Barwe. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,659.36). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Prabhakar Barwe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Chess-Board in September 2020 with an auction result of GBP 302,400.00 (€ 333,445.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion South Asian Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Works On Paper (Fish And Bottles; Pigeons And Bottles) von Prabhakar Barwe zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.659,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Prabhakar Barwe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Chess-Board im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 302.400,00 (€ 333.445,16).
