This artwork by Pino Pinelli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2016. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Pittura sold for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,237.85) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pino Pinelli; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot „Pittura grigia“ sold at auction in December 2020 with the realized price of EUR 37,500.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pino Pinelli erzielte im Februar 2016 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Pittura für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 35.237,85) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pino Pinelli; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit „Pittura grigia“ im Dezember 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 37.500,00.
