In the Important Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes auction, the work Prince Sergey Sergeyevich Saltykov, in blue and russet wool tartan cloak with elaborate gold and royal blue tassel closure, lined with another red, green and blue tartan, black dolman with elaborate frogging and tassels, russet waistcoat, white linen sold for GBP 32,450.00 (€ 34,081.94) - well above the upper es However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pietro de Rossi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Count Alexei Fyodorovich Orlov, Later Prince Orlov (1786-1861), which sold at auction in November 2018 for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 70,498.10).
