Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Lady by Pietro de Rossi was sold in the Russian Works of Art, Fabergé & Icons auction at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,357.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro de Rossi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Count Alexei Fyodorovich Orlov, Later Prince Orlov (1786-1861) in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 70,498.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady von Pietro de Rossi wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Russian Works of Art, Fabergé & Icons bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.357,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pietro de Rossi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Count Alexei Fyodorovich Orlov, Later Prince Orlov (1786-1861) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 70.498,10).
