Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,676.02), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro de Rossi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Count Alexei Fyodorovich Orlov, Later Prince Orlov (1786-1861) in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 70,498.10).
