Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mediterranee by Pietro de Francisco was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Artcurial in October 2014. The price achieved of EUR 2,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pietro de Francisco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Burano, Venice, which sold at auction in April 2007 for GBP 4,320.00 (€ 6,325.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mediterranee von Pietro de Francisco wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pietro de Francisco mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Burano, Venice beobachtet, die im April 2007 für GBP 4.320,00 (€ 6.325,04) versteigert wurde.
