Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2014 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work A Dance On The Shore by Pietro de Francisco. The price achieved of GBP 1,400.00 (€ 1,705.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pietro de Francisco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Burano, Venice, which sold at auction in April 2007 for GBP 4,320.00 (€ 6,325.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Dance On The Shore von Pietro de Francisco zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.400,00 (€ 1.705,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pietro de Francisco mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Burano, Venice beobachtet, die im April 2007 für GBP 4.320,00 (€ 6.325,04) versteigert wurde.
