Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The work Dendrocygne by Pieter Withoos was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March 2010. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,275.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter Withoos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Studies Of Insects, Including Two Long-Horned Beetles (Batocera Octomaculata And Eurycephalus Maxillosus), A Nine-Spotted Moth (Amata Phegea), A Yellow-Shell Butterfly (Camptogramma Bilineata) And A Bumblebee (Bombus Hortorum) in July 2019 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,703.50).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Die Arbeit Dendrocygne von Pieter Withoos kam im März 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.275,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter Withoos erzielen.
