Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work A Still Life Of Game by Peter Tillemans. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 13,103.58) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Tillemans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A panoramic view of Chatsworth House and Park, with mares and foals in the foreground in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 265,250.00 (€ 337,857.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life Of Game von Peter Tillemans zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 13.103,58) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Tillemans erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A panoramic view of Chatsworth House and Park, with mares and foals in the foreground im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 265.250,00 (€ 337.857,21).
