In July 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings, which included the work The Mocking Of The Spaniard by Pieter Jansz. Quast. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 21,250.00 (€ 30,125.36), 18% above the upper estimate. Other works by Pieter Jansz. Quast have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of CHF 60,500.00 (€ 51,518.30) in March 2018 for the work Kartenspieler in einer Wachstube. 1636..
