Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Galante Réunion Dans Un Intérieur by Pieter Jansz. Quast was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in September last year. The price achieved of EUR 1,181.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter Jansz. Quast achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kartenspieler in einer Wachstube. 1636. in March 2018 with an auction result of CHF 60,500.00 (€ 51,518.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Galante Réunion Dans Un Intérieur von Pieter Jansz. Quast wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.181,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter Jansz. Quast erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kartenspieler in einer Wachstube. 1636. im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 60.500,00 (€ 51.518,30).
