Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Seagull by Pieter Holsteyn the Younger was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2005. The price achieved of EUR 1,560.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter Holsteyn the Younger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A tulip book: a volume containing 42 drawings of tulips and one added drawing of a tulip, and another drawing of an iris in April 2002 with an auction result of GBP 124,750.00 (€ 201,842.23).

Die Arbeit A Seagull von Pieter Holsteyn the Younger kam im November 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.560,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden.
