Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait of A Man, Bust-Length, In A Blue Robe, Holding His Cap In His Left Hand by Pieter de Grebber was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2006. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 15,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter de Grebber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a young man in Persian dress in January 2005 with an auction result of USD 430,400.00 (€ 329,833.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait of A Man, Bust-Length, In A Blue Robe, Holding His Cap In His Left Hand von Pieter de Grebber kam im November 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 15.600,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter de Grebber erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a young man in Persian dress im Januar 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 430.400,00 (€ 329.833,70).
