Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Susannah And The Elders by Pieter de Grebber was sold in the Old Master Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in September 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,600.00 (€ 13,893.55). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter de Grebber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a young man in Persian dress in January 2005 with an auction result of USD 430,400.00 (€ 329,833.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Susannah And The Elders von Pieter de Grebber wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 12.600,00 (€ 13.893,55) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter de Grebber erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a young man in Persian dress im Januar 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 430.400,00 (€ 329.833,70).
