Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Masters, which included the work Portrait Of A Woman, Bust Length by Pieter de Grebber. The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,121.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter de Grebber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a young man in Persian dress in January 2005 with an auction result of USD 430,400.00 (€ 329,833.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Woman, Bust Length von Pieter de Grebber zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.121,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter de Grebber erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a young man in Persian dress im Januar 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 430.400,00 (€ 329.833,70).
