Auction result fails to reach estimate
In May 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Dünenlandschaft mit Bauernhaus. by Pieter de Neyn for EUR 5,160.00. This price was achieved in the auction Alte Kunst at VAN HAM and was even lower than the EUR 6,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Pieter de Neyn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A dune landscape with two riders and other travelers on a country road in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,757.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dünenlandschaft mit Bauernhaus. von Pieter de Neyn für EUR 5.160,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Alte Kunst bei VAN HAM erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von EUR 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pieter de Neyn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A dune landscape with two riders and other travelers on a country road im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 25.757,71).
