In the Old Master Pictures auction, the work The Continence of Scipio sold for GBP 10,800.00 (€ 15,809.93) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter Codde achieve.
