It achieved a price of GBP 175,000.00 (€ 196,936.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter Claesz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life Of Lemons And Olives, Pewter Plates, A Roemer And A Façon-De-Venise Wine Glass On A Ledge in July 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,805,000.00 (€ 2,144,730.48).
