In the Master Paintings and Sculpture: Part II auction, the work A Delft Jug, Ham On A Pewter Plate, A Glass Of Wine, Fish And A Roll On A Table Covered With A White Cloth sold for USD 81,250.00 (€ 71,966.34) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter Claesz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life Of Lemons And Olives, Pewter Plates, A Roemer And A Façon-De-Venise Wine Glass On A Ledge in July 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,805,000.00 (€ 2,144,730.48).
