Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Coating, Dessau by Piet Zwart was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in November 2016. It achieved a price of EUR 1,750.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. Admittedly, works by Piet Zwart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work NKF. Delft, The Netherlands: N.V. Nederlandische Kabelfabriek, 1928. in May 2010 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,180.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Coating, Dessau von Piet Zwart kam im November 2016 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Piet Zwart auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit NKF. Delft, The Netherlands: N.V. Nederlandische Kabelfabriek, 1928. im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.180,94).
