Quarto (293 x 210 mm). With coloured paper samples pasted in. Black and white photographs throughout, a few printed in a variety of colours. Original yellow card covers printed in black (light wear and light soiling on the front cover, small chip at spine-foot).
FIRST EDITION OF THIS LANDMARK OF MODERNISM IN PRINT. An excellent copy of this spectacular company book, designed by 'one of the most internationally renowned graphic designers' (The Photobook). A top price for Piet Zwart
In May 2010 Christies in London held the auction Photobooks, which included the work NKF. Delft, The Netherlands: N.V. Nederlandische Kabelfabriek, 1928. by Piet Zwart. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,180.94), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, NKF. Delft, The Netherlands: N.V. Nederlandische Kabelfabriek, 1928. is even the most expensive work of art by Piet Zwart that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Piet Zwart
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Photobooks durch, in der auch die Arbeit NKF. Delft, The Netherlands: N.V. Nederlandische Kabelfabriek, 1928. von Piet Zwart zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.180,94) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist NKF. Delft, The Netherlands: N.V. Nederlandische Kabelfabriek, 1928. sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Piet Zwart, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
