In February 2019 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work La malinoise by Pierre Roy. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,163.37), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre Roy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Barque Chinoise, which sold at auction in November 2010 for EUR 84,804.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit La malinoise von Pierre Roy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.163,37) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre Roy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Barque Chinoise beobachtet, die im November 2010 für EUR 84.804,00 versteigert wurde.
