Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A lady, facing right in white dress with blue ribbon tied at corsage and matching wide sash, pearl bracelet, long powdered curling upswept hair by Pierre Rouvier was sold in the Important Portrait Miniatures including works from the auction at Christies in London in November 2001. The price achieved of GBP 1,292.50 (€ 2,056.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Pierre Rouvier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,594.71).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.292,50 (€ 2.056,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
