Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures Part II, which included the work Portrait Of A Huntsmen by Pierre Rouvier. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,372.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Rouvier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unknown in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,594.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Huntsmen von Pierre Rouvier zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.372,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Rouvier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unknown im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.594,71).
