This artwork by Pierre Rouvier achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2021. In the Old Master Paintings and Portrait Miniatures auction, the work Portrait Of Ursula Funguerlin, Née Scherer (B. 1764) sold for GBP 2,268.00 (€ 2,608.86) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Pierre Rouvier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,594.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 89 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Rouvier erzielte im April 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings and Portrait Miniatures wurde die Arbeit Portrait Of Ursula Funguerlin, Née Scherer (B. 1764) für GBP 2.268,00 (€ 2.608,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Rouvier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unknown im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.594,71).
