Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work À La Comedie Française by Pierre Roussel for USD 4,800.00 (€ 3,628.12). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Pierre Roussel have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2001 by the work Oliver et Jacques Travaillant at USD 3,760.00 (€ 4,197.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit À La Comedie Française von Pierre Roussel für USD 4.800,00 (€ 3.628,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Pierre Roussel wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2001 die Arbeit Oliver et Jacques Travaillant mit USD 3.760,00 (€ 4.197,37).
