This artwork by Pierre Hodé achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2008. In the TwentiethCentury Art auction, the work Yachts in a harbour sold for EUR 20,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pierre Hodé; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot La Cathedrale De Rouen, Les Toits, 1929 sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of EUR 37,176.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Hodé erzielte im Juni 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion TwentiethCentury Art wurde die Arbeit Yachts in a harbour für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pierre Hodé; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit La Cathedrale De Rouen, Les Toits, 1929 im Oktober 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 37.176,00.
