In March 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work La Symbolique Des Arts by Pierre Hodé. The »bidding war« ended at USD 33,600.00 (€ 27,679.38), 68% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pierre Hodé; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot La Cathedrale De Rouen, Les Toits, 1929 sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of EUR 37,176.00.

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pierre Hodé; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit La Cathedrale De Rouen, Les Toits, 1929 im Oktober 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 37.176,00.
