Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Scène de port by Pierre Dumont. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,714.19). Admittedly, works by Pierre Dumont have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Normandie, Paysage De Bords De Mer in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 27,801.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scène de port von Pierre Dumont zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.714,19) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Dumont auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Normandie, Paysage De Bords De Mer im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.801,00.
