Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The ballerina by Pierre Carrier-Belleuse was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,191.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Carrier-Belleuse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Plaisirs de Paris' in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 120,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The ballerina von Pierre Carrier-Belleuse kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.191,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Carrier-Belleuse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Plaisirs de Paris' im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 120.000,00.
