Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2016 Christies in London held the auction Brian Sewell - Critic & Collector, which included the work Joseph greeted by his brethren by Pier Francesco Mola. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,238.28). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pier Francesco Mola achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An artist and a youth in January 2002 with an auction result of USD 3,086,000.00 (€ 3,590,877.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Brian Sewell - Critic & Collector durch, in der auch die Arbeit Joseph greeted by his brethren von Pier Francesco Mola zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.238,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pier Francesco Mola erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An artist and a youth im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.086.000,00 (€ 3.590.877,36).
