Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Old Masters, which included the work The Madonna And Child With The Infant Saint John The Baptist: Madonna Del Latte by Pier Francesco Mola. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 106,250.00 (€ 95,300.03) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pier Francesco Mola achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An artist and a youth in January 2002 with an auction result of USD 3,086,000.00 (€ 3,590,877.36).

Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Madonna And Child With The Infant Saint John The Baptist: Madonna Del Latte von Pier Francesco Mola zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 106.250,00 (€ 95.300,03) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
