This artwork by Pia Camil achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October last year. In the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Fragmento L (Fragment L) sold for GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,403.66) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pia Camil; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Prueba Fragmento 6 II sold at auction in November 2017 with the realized price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,404.77).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pia Camil erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Fragmento L (Fragment L) für GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.403,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pia Camil; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Prueba Fragmento 6 II im November 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.404,77).
