Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2014 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled (Chair) by Phyllida Barlow. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,538.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Phyllida Barlow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work untitled: hiddenupturnedhouse in December last year with an auction result of USD 30,240.00 (€ 28,266.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Chair) von Phyllida Barlow zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.538,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Phyllida Barlow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit untitled: hiddenupturnedhouse im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.240,00 (€ 28.266,97).
