Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,532.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philips Koninck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A woodland landscape with a cottage and figures in October 2019 with an auction result of USD 262,500.00 (€ 235,320.48).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.532,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philips Koninck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A woodland landscape with a cottage and figures im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.500,00 (€ 235.320,48).
