Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Crise De Désinvolture' (Crisis Casually) by Philippe Ramette. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,996.69) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Philippe Ramette have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Balcon 1 - 1996 in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 40,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Crise De Désinvolture' (Crisis Casually) von Philippe Ramette zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.996,69) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philippe Ramette auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Balcon 1 - 1996 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.300,00.
