Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Socles À Réflexion, Utilisation, 1989-2002 by Philippe Ramette was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in Paris in November 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 8,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Philippe Ramette have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Balcon 1 - 1996 in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 40,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Socles À Réflexion, Utilisation, 1989-2002 von Philippe Ramette wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 8.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philippe Ramette auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Balcon 1 - 1996 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.300,00.
